What happens to uploads
Your uploaded photos are processed by our AI systems (including third-party AI providers) to generate your headshots and support your account workflow.
Model training
We do not intentionally use your photos to train our own AI models.
Upload retention
We retain uploaded photos only as long as reasonably needed to deliver the service, and work to remove them in a timely manner.
Generated headshots
Your results stay in your account while it is active unless you delete them or request account deletion.

Billing privacy
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.

What data we collect
The data we collect depends on how you use ProHeadshots, but it generally falls into a few straightforward categories.
Account information
Name and email address when you create an account or contact the team.
Photo uploads
The selfies and photos you upload for headshot generation. These may be processed by third-party AI service providers solely to generate your results.
Generated images and project data
Your AI-generated headshot images, project settings, and related account activity.
Order and billing context
Order-related information needed to operate the service. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
Usage, cookies, and analytics
Service usage data, analytics cookies, and tracking data (including affiliate, referral, and coupon attribution via cookies and localStorage) used to operate and improve the product.
Communications
Email addresses for transactional messages (order confirmations, delivery notifications) and, if opted in, marketing communications. SMS data if you opt in to text messaging.
How uploaded photos are used
Your uploaded photos are handled for the service you requested. In plain English: they are there to help generate your headshots and support the workflow around that request, not to quietly do unrelated marketing work in the background.

Are uploaded photos used to train models?
One of the most common questions before uploading. The answer is direct.
- We do not intentionally use your uploaded photos to train our own AI models.
- Third-party AI providers used to generate your headshots may have their own data handling and retention policies. We select providers that offer appropriate data protections, but their specific terms may apply in addition to this policy.
- We do not use uploaded photos for facial recognition, identity verification, or biometric profiling.
- We do not sell biometric identifiers, uploaded images, or personal photos.
- Your photos may involve processing of facial features and likeness. Some jurisdictions have specific laws regarding biometric or facial data. If you have questions about how this applies in your region, please contact us.

How long uploads and results are stored
What happens to uploads, generated headshots, and deleted accounts — each handled separately.
Uploaded photos
We retain uploaded photos only as long as reasonably needed to deliver the service. Uploaded photos are automatically deleted within 30 days of generation completion.
Generated headshots
Retained while your account is active unless you delete projects or request account deletion.
Deleted accounts
Personal data is scheduled for permanent removal within 30 days after deletion is processed. Certain records (billing, legal compliance) may be retained as required by law.
Manual deletion
You can request manual deletion of your data at any time by contacting support at privacy@proheadshots.io or through your account settings. Requests are processed within 30 days.

Children under 18
ProHeadshots is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has used the Service or provided us with personal data, please contact us at privacy@proheadshots.io so we can investigate and remove the information.
Photos depicting minors are strictly prohibited under our Content Policy and Safety Policy.
International data transfers

Data processing location. ProHeadshots.io is operated by JVN Studio LLC d/b/a ProHeadshots.io in the United States. Uploaded content may be processed and stored in the United States.
International users. By using our services, international users consent to transfer of their information to the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
We take commercially reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled in accordance with this policy regardless of where it is processed.
Biometric data
How we handle biometric-related data.
We do not use uploaded photos for facial recognition, identity verification, or biometric profiling. Uploaded photos are processed solely for the purpose of generating AI headshots as requested by the user.
Your photos may involve processing of facial features and likeness by AI generation providers to produce headshot results. This processing is limited to headshot generation and does not involve the creation, storage, or sale of biometric identifiers.
We do not sell your data
Our commitment to not selling personal data.
We do not sell biometric identifiers, uploaded images, or personal photos. We do not sell personal information to third parties for their marketing or advertising purposes.
Your data is shared with third-party service providers only as necessary to operate the platform (e.g., AI generation, payment processing, email delivery) and is not used by those providers for independent purposes beyond delivering the service.
Affiliate, referral, and coupon tracking
How promotional attribution works.
If you arrive at ProHeadshots through an affiliate link, referral link, or promotional URL, we may store attribution data in your browser's localStorage or cookies, including:

- • Landing page URL
- • Timestamp of the click
This data is used solely to attribute conversions to the referring affiliate or user. Affiliate attribution cookies may persist for up to 90 days. This data is not sold or shared for advertising purposes.
